A co-founder of Solutions, Andy has spent the last 14 years within the Telecommunications Industry. His history includes 5 years in senior management for one of the top performing, then, Cellnet dealerships. His vast experience of working in, and with, large Communications organisations have taught him valuable lessons. Andy comments, "Time has moved on now with Mobile Communications in particular, ’new connections’ are all that appear to matter to Networks. Yes they proactively manage corporate accounts but not with any degree of personal touch, therefore not properly defining individual client requirements. This can also be said to be true for some of the so-called ‘specialist’ operators."

Andy knows that the most important factors in meeting client requirements are "firstly; listening to the client's individual needs and secondly; build trust by providing impartial and independent advice." With a consultative approach, Solutions offer both in order to ensure that their clients receive a duty of care and the highest possible level of service. Where other organisations lack, Solutions provide a complete portfolio of Communication Services including personal administration on all accounts.

In his 20th year within the telecommunications industry ranging from retail to corporate ventures within cellular to fixed line. Andy has worked for small independent companies and been an intrinsic part of their growth and success and also been a key figure within very large multifunctional national networks project managing multi million pound installations. Andy is a project manager who has gained great experience from all his various roles and as such brings valuable knowledge to Solutions. Key to this success is his understanding of the installation itself having been trained as an engineer and is one of relatively few who hold a full RCDD qualification. Other training includes City & Guilds in auto electrics and Andy is also a Cisco CSIE networking advisor.

Stuart Scales

Stuart Scales
Stuart started his career in the automotive industry after leaving school and has focused on expanding his skill in all areas of vehicle technology whenever possible. After identifying that he would receive first class training in all areas including electrical diagnosis and repair Stuart joined the RAC.

Four years later Stuart compounded his general automotive knowledge further with a move to Autoglass. As vehicles became ever more complicated and reliant on electrical systems the need to know about de-activation of airbags, door electrics and in some cases dash board removal safely and correctly was more imperative. Stuart was with Autoglass for 5 years and has become conversant with the majority of modern vehicles throughout this time and has maintained this level of knowledge up to the present.

Stuart’s next move was to ‘Solutions Business Systems’ as a technician and installer of their wide range of products. Through this career move Stuart has been able to keep abreast of new innovations in the electrical automotive industry. This position requires all of his knowledge to correctly and safely install hands free car kits and radio mute leads. His knowledge needs to extend across all manufacturers of hands free equipment and the majority of vehicle manufacturers, which requires vast experience and expertise. Stuart’s knowledge does not end at this point, he has also gained the knowledge of the installation of vehicle tracking and asset management equipment, which is becoming ever more necessary for fleet applications. Stuart has also broadened his knowledge even further by acquiring the skills to install structured cabling and network infrastructure required in large new build sites.

James Wilson

James’s working career has been focused toward one aim, service. His positions have all been with major companies and these roles have enabled him to hone his skill sets with this in mind. For the last 10 years James has concentrated on ‘account management’ and ‘accounts’. This has given him the ability to quickly understand any customer issue and then through pro-active processes arrive at the solution. James also concentrated on company accounts procedures to enable him to understand the requirements and restrictions of companies from a different perspective.

Both of these skill sets makes James a valuable member of the ‘Solutions’ team who can offer our customers exceptional service from various aspects.

James states, “true customer service is the ability to understand any issue from any department and act accordingly in a pro-active manner to affect a quick and positive solution.” ‘All too often this is not the case in many industries, which is almost criminal. At Solutions we believe loyal happy customers are made so through good account management’.

James abilities have come from skills acquired working for companies such as EMG Motor Group, Eastern Contracting, Greene King PLC, University of Cambridge and now Solutions. Through this time James also achieved his AAT Accounting qualification.
